Go to Amazon to Find a Profitable Product
The first step of researching a product is to visit Amazon. The platform will show you the most profitable products you can produce and sell on Amazon.
Go to the Menubar> All> Best Sellers. Check out the best-selling products and choose the one you like.
You can also find the best-selling products from Amazon searches. For example, if you are interested in selling AirPods, search “A”, and most searched items will come into suggestion. If AirPods come into suggestion, it is searched widely.
How Much Does the Product Make
Have you decided on a product? Now, you need to see how much the products make monthly. Click on the extension and choose Helium 10 Xray. It will show you how much the product is making monthly.

Fill these filters to shortlist your desired product.
Review Count: 200 – 300. The more reviews, the more sales. So, you need to choose products with less competition to play it safe in the beginning.
Review Rating: 3.5 – 4. Choose products with a mid rating so that you can have an easy time ranking on the first page.
Shipping Size & Weight (lb): Small/Large Standard Size with 1-2lb. It will keep your shipping fees low.
Fulfillment: Check mark all the options- Amazon, FBA, FBM.
Exclude Title Keywords: Add keywords you don’t want to appear in search results, such as food items, clothing, jewelry, and others. It is a great feature to narrow down the product list.
Competitors
Use these filters to narrow down your product list.
Number of Sellers: Do not add anything to this filter. You do not need to know the number of sellers selling the product. You just need to remember that the sellers who appear on the first page are your competitors.
Exclude Brands: Use this filter if you have a private label and do not want to use branded products.
Sales
Fill these filters to find products within this price list.
Prices: Choose pricing from $15 – $85.This filter is super important. Do not choose less than $15 because Amazon will cut the making, packaging, and shipping prices. So, if it is less, you may not make any profit. On the other hand, do not go over $85 because the more pricing, the better research customers do and take from other sellers with better reviews and ratings.
Revenue: $5,500 – $17,000. As a beginner, do not get greedy. Even if you make $5.500 in revenue, with all the cost-cutting, your profit will be $1,500.
Filling up these filters is mandatory to find your desired products. However, you do not have to follow the pricing and other filters completely. Experiment with the filters and check out other filters to see how they work.
Black Box filters are completely editable. Change pricing, revenue, review count, and others to your liking to see the results. Once you are satisfied with the editing, search for the products. Save the Filter Preset, if you need it again.
